Mountain School offers courses promoting
self-reliance and an environment. Retreats at the
Sanctuary (includes Bed & Breakfast Option) for
reconnection, self-reliance, and service to
humanity. The school began as a new age community
in 1980, built around a turn-of-the-century
homestead, an organic farm, a creek, and two
underground springs. An altitude of 3,300 feet in
Arizona's Superstition Mountains is not only
conducive to an orchard of some 120 fruit and nut
trees, it relieves the sting of hot summers.
